But would this desperation be enough to continue through this endeavour even when the true direction of his missions slowly begins to eat away at his mind, and someone who compromises everything he is doing in his field of work begins to eat away at his heart?
OR: Ollie, Lando, and Charles are all in a squadron led by Lewis and sent by the UN to carry out missions, but the three's hearts are compromised by those they are sent after.

“Poor Oscar, man. Haven’t you heard?” Carlos said, sighing as if whatever happened personally affected him.
Lando released Carlos’s hands, gulping. Carlos now steadily eyes Lando’s expression, while he begins to grimace. Because now Lando knew that he wouldn’t just be a bystander but somehow a mentioned connection by those who weren’t able to keep their mouth shut. Partially at Lando’s own fault for not being able to keep his.
“Is Osc’ fine?” Lando asked, keeping his face calm while his voice, shaking, betrayed him.
“If your girlfriend of two years broke up with you, would you be fine?” Carlos asked, muttering curses in a foreign language underneath his breath. “I can’t believe it, Lily and Oscar were perfect–”
Carlos paused, looking thoughtfully at the table rather than back at Lando. “No offense or anything.”

Oscar choked on a french fry, lightly patting his chest and grabbing his drink to wash it down. “Have you thought about the fact that he probably likes the area?”
“No! He goes there with a hoodie and a backpack, he’s probably on his way home or something! Could you imagine? Spiderman could actually live in the flats opposite us!” Lando exclaimed, turning his head to the window and he could slightly see the same building. The world now becoming suffocated by the increasing darkness, the sunset long gone.
Oscar pinched the bridge of his nose, “I think you’re reading into this way too much, mate.”

Charles waves at him dismissively as he begins texting, and Max lays his head down on the coffee table and prays for strength.
