One night, pressured to drink by a customer, Wu loses his balance in a hallway. A hand catches his waist.

Chi leads him to a quiet room upstairs, intending to leave—but the drunk stranger pulls him into bed. For once, Chi doesn't resist. He stays. And for the first time in years, he sleeps.
By morning, the stranger is gone.
Chi finds him.
"Sleep with me," he says, voice quiet. "Name your price."
Wu goes rigid. "You think everything can be bought?!"
He turns to leave.
"Two hundred thousand yuan."
Wu's footsteps falter.
He doesn't turn around.
