Summary
After multiple rounds of negotiation, humans and androids have made a peace pact. The White House passed an emergency amendment to the American Android Act in attempt to integrate the one million of deviant androids into the society. The city of Detroit was slowly reviving, and Connor was accepted back into DPD to replenish the crippled police force.
However, investigation of a Thirium-310 shipment disappearance case led to a red ice cartel. This swept the Department off their feet, and the most experienced detectives - Hank, Gavin, and Connor - were assigned to investigate along with the FBI. In order to mend their customers' broken trust, CyberLife also sent RK900, their newest military prototype android, as an FBI agent to infiltrate the organization.
The cards have been dealt, and the dice rolled. The world was about to be turned upside down once more.
Heavily inspired by the writing style of Star Wars Rogue One novellization (Alexander Freed). Special thanks to @whynotasmile for proofreading/minor story structuring. See Notes for more information.

Summary
Connor supposes he should be grateful Captain Fowler is even allowing him to continue to work at all without Hank there. But as Gavid Reed slams his palm onto Fowler's desk and points an accusatory finger towards Connor, he can’t help but feel like the Captain had to be playing some sort of sick joke.
“You stay the fuck out of my way, tin can. Don’t talk, don’t interrupt and don’t fuck with any evidence. Understood?” Reed’s voice was laced with the hint of a threat. If Connor didn’t listen, there would be hell to pay. Connor swallowed slowly and watched as the detective's eyes traced the movement, confusion briefly breaking through his anger.
OR
Connor and Gavin Reed are forced to work together after an injury puts Hank on medical leave, and Gavin learns there's more to Connor than what meets the eye. Slight slowburn, angst and lots of hurt/comfort.

Summary
Androids rose up and were beat down. Markus is dead. Now comes Cyberlife's cure for the deviancy crisis, a collar. Deviant or not, now androids have no choice but to obey their humans or experience a painful, processor fried death.
When Connor is finally collared, it's pure happenstance Gavin Reed comes into an android resale store for a case and buys Connor as, what Connor believes, a sick joke.
Confronted with being a housebot for the first time in his life, and owned at that, Connor struggles to find his place with the collar around his neck. Gavin's unkind, hostile, and refuses to help Connor's adjustment, that is, until Gavin can't ignore Connor's suffering anymore.

Summary
Heavy cases always meant a plethora of paperwork to follow. Nines would get it completed, and check over Detective Reed's reports for errors as well. As long as he could block out the distracting noise across the room.
It was the soft little gasps that broke his focus. The little inhales that the human would make. A shuttering sound of ecstasy. He would be cut off with a soft choke, a long period of silence and shuffling. Then a deep gasping inhale that filled his lungs would follow. Panting and quivering. Nines could hear the human's heart pounding in his chest, even from this distance.----
Gavin has a long day, but with the help of his androids he forgets all of his troubles for just a bit.Series
