Having opened the portal, Thirteen balances her want to be back with Henry with her fear of the Mind Flayer, her love of her friends with her beliefs that they see her as a burden, and the guilt she feels at everything she's done, both the stuff she's done by choice and the stuff forced upon her.

I highly highly highly suggest reading the previous parts, or none of this will make sense. However, if you like Henry as well as deeply unhealthy (platonic) relationships, then I think you'll have fun.
