Summary
"Y'know," Lance's voice was a soft, slurred murmur against the pillow, so close it vibrated through Keith's own skull. "I'm glad... I'm glad it was you that stayed."
Keith's breath hitched, his lungs seizing in his chest. Don't say it, he chanted silently, a desperate prayer to any deity that might be listening. But Lance, in his current state, had no access to Keith's internal monologue. "Even with all the... the bickering. And the fighting."
A small, breathy giggle escaped him at his own muddled phrasing. "I'm... I'm really glad I met you. We make a good team, don't we?"
Or
A diplomatic mission to Ryxara was supposed to be simple—formal talks, polite smiles, a few days of uneasy peace.
But something in the palace is wrong.Or at least, Keith thinks it is.
It’s hard to tell where genuine danger ends and his own jealousy begins, especially when Lance has always been good at drawing attention without even trying.
He’s not sure if he’s seeing patterns where none exist—if it’s paranoia, jealousy, or instinct screaming too loudly to ignore. But when Lance falls violently ill after the masquerade ball, Keith is forced to consider a possibility far worse than being wrong.

Summary
He still wanted to shake Lance senseless. Still wanted to force every stupid self-destructive thought out of his head permanently. But not like this. Not while Lance was bleeding through half-finished bandages and barely standing upright.
“Come here,” he said more gently.
Lance looked at him warily for half a second before the exhaustion apparently won out. Keith guided him carefully down onto the bathroom floor instead, maneuvering him until Lance sat between his knees with his back angled toward Keith’s chest.
The position felt immediately, dangerously intimate. Lance’s bare back rested inches from his chest now, warm and solid and distractingly close. Keith could smell the sharp disinfectant still lingering in the air beneath the cleaner scent of soap and the faint metallic trace of blood.Or
After a mission gone wrong in all the right ways, Keith storms into Lance’s room ready to start a fight over another reckless stunt, only to discover Lance is far more injured than anyone realized. What starts as anger turns into patching wounds on a bathroom floor, old insecurities dragged into the open, and the realization that they’ve both been holding back too much for too long.

Summary
Keith was a nerd.
He knew all of the vessels in his hand, he could give a presentation on the heart structure of a frog on a whim, he only twice tried to smuggle alien fauna onto the castle for testing. And well, if the Blades of Marmora said that he should have been born with a tail, and apparently chopping off a tail is a very large 'do not do this' in all galra culture, well...
Keith wasn't ever going to say no to a science experiment, especially something as fascinating as a tail.Series

Summary
Lance turns to face the window and starts to work on removing his chest plate. "I don't know about you, dude, but I'm tired. Can we do this later?"
Lance hears what he can only call a growl behind him, and the hair rises on the back of his neck. His skin tingles and he has to bite down on the inside of his cheek to bring the sudden frenzy of thoughts to a stop. Wow, okay. That's… something. "Your 'later' is never."
"That works, too!" Lance chirps. The chest plate comes off, and he tosses it to the side with the others. He starts to fiddle with his belt, but Keith's next words have him freezing.
"Why did you kiss me?"

Summary
"Truly hideous, those eyes," Om'e murmured, as if to themselves. "May Ahnos accept this offering."
Distantly, Keith was aware that he was crying.
And then he wasn't aware of anything at all.
