Even as a little kid it seemed like all his friends had an idea of what they wanted, something to work towards (Katsuya said becoming a featherman doesn't count). Tatsuya wanted something like that too and thus he found himself at Sumaru's beach trying to figure out what it could be for him. Perhaps a chance meeting and new friend could give him the direction he so desired.
