Mike decides to tell him. He wants Will to be the first person to officially know that he and Eleven have broken up - for good. He doesn't know why, but he thinks Will will appreciate the closeness of it.

It's been two months since the ending of season 4, when Eleven decides to break up with Mike. Not long after, Will and Mike are made to share a bedroom, so they can free up some space in the basement, where Will and Jonathan had previously been staying. With Will returning to Hawkins, his connection to the Upside Down is growing stronger, and Mike will do anything to keep Will safe - even if that means confronting his own feelings towards Will.

Now, with his chances all run out, Remus is sent to Hawkings Independent School as a last-ditch effort to clean up his act. There he meets the very people who will set up the rest of his life, and is forced to confront the pieces of himself he'd long thought had been lost.

All he could feel, as he heard the notes of the opening riff, were chills. Flowing through his body, taking up the space in his mind from pretty much everything else. He left himself flow with it, mouthing the words while simulating playing a guitar. This - right here, was pure, raw passion. And as he pictured himself as the lead singer of a world famous band, all worries drifted into oblivion."
This will be a Tcoptp fanfic, because I love Sirius Black and I literally cannot get enough of this story.
