Summary
Vox was pretty much going for a celebratory fuck with Val to top off what has so far been the best day of his un-life, right in front of Alastor’s proverbial salad, mostly to rub in his old friend’s helplessness and discomfort. Alastor’s always been lame and weird about sex—the guy has no interest in it, and not even in a fun, dramatic way! He just thinks it’s boring and pointless and, as he once actually said, uncomfortably damp. So Vox isn’t under the impression that he could get Alastor to actually participate—
Except he actually kind of is. Participating.

Summary
If Alastor had been paying any attention to the film Vox had selected, he might have thought the premise rather ridiculous.
Though a 'flux capacitor' did sound like something Vox himself would come up with, so he supposed he could forgive the other man's fascination with the movie.
As it was, the film was little more than background noise to the symphony of his own thoughts, his hooves tucked up onto the couch and Vox's arm slung over his shoulders. His head was nestled comfortably under Vox's screen, the hum and whirr of his fans occasionally blowing out a burst of air that made one of Alastor's ears flick. He watched the television with half-lidded eyes, idly running a claw up and down the fabric stretched over Vox's thigh.

Summary
Alastor had taken to staying at Vee Tower more often than not. Only of a nighttime, mind – he wasn't neglecting his duties about the hotel, nor had he forgotten Lilith's warning. He'd been utilising Angel in Charlie's training, considering Vox was often otherwise occupied, and the girl had finally started to grasp some rudimentary control of her powers. She was now able to call upon her demonic features and unholy fire without the need to goad her into a rage, first – though those skills alone wouldn't make her a general for the army Lilith intended her to lead.
That challenge was an entirely different kettle of flesh, as Rosie might say – and Alastor still felt a twinge of apprehension when he considered the Queen's plans to wage war on Heaven from the inside.

Summary
It certainly felt odd to be finding out new things about Vox's sleeping habits, particularly after spending so many nights with him – but it seemed as if there were still things Alastor had to learn about his new... what should he call him? Beau?
No – that felt just as juvenile. He would stick with partner, for the time being.
In any case – he'd never known that Vox actually liked to sleep on his side, some nights. Something that proved a little challenging, what with his rather unique form. But Vox was nothing if not innovative, and once he'd upgraded his head to the point he could no longer use the side of it to rest on, he'd been forced to come up with a creative new solution for the nights he didn't feel like sleeping supine, like a corpse laid out to rest.

Summary
Their arrangement is very simple: Vox wants a pet; Alastor wants a toy; and they each get what they want so long as they take turns.
For Vox, this kind of exchange is practically second nature. He’s willing to give a little to get a lot in return, but Alastor struggles. Alastor wants what he wants, and what he wants is to play with his prey. He does not want to be played with.
