Summary
Glinda Gale landed in Kansas five-years ago with no memory of where she came from, nor how she came to be in a falling hot air balloon in the first place. Thankfully she’s found a safe home on the prairie, helping take care of Em and Henry’s young niece Dorothy in exchange for their kindness and hospitality.
Everything changes however when a sudden tornado rips them out of Kansas, landing the pair in the strange and dangerous world of Oz. A place where a beautiful, green Wicked Witch is waiting for them, and nothing is truly as it seems at all.

They would sit together in Glinda’s room to drink and reminisce. Doing their utmost not to mention the name of the person that lingers in the room with them. (Elphaba exists like a ghost, a haunting between them.) She exists in Glinda’s memories, in her love and desire. But also in the ways Nessa is alike to her sister even as she tries to deny it, tries to resist it. Glinda sees it in the way she dresses, the way she laughs, the shape of her eyes.
And so no one should have been surprised when on one such evening, inebriated and lost in a haze of memory, Glinda leaned in and kissed her. What was a surprise was that Nessa kissed her back.

Summary
It starts as a tickle in her throat.
The disease is rare but well known throughout Oz for its unique—often painfully beautiful—symptoms. It’s not beautiful to Glinda, though, who finds herself dying as flowers grow in her lungs and strangle her heart, all because her love for the Wicked Witch can’t be returned.
Will Elphaba find out in time, and will her love be strong enough to reverse the disease? Glinda has resigned herself to her fate, but that doesn’t mean she can’t dream of a world in which she could be with her Elphie and live.

Summary
Elphaba Thropp, was gone- dead. She was no longer.
Glinda never did heed her warnings, for wishing only does wound the heart. This ache of reality carved its path into her, pulling and prying at her softest parts, that soft underbelly of love that she couldn’t put out. Torn apart by grief, mutilated by self hatred and isolation.
Or
Glinda upland had lived months in the aftermath of Elphabas death. No longer can she take it. So she does the only thing she can think to do, join her in death.
