    Hongjoong nodded. “The secret to immortality. The stories say that black sirens cry black tears, and to drink those tears will add years to a person’s life.”

    Legend says that the black tears from a black-tailed siren can grant immortal life. Captain Kim Hongjoong keeps his pirates far away from the dangerous business of siren hunting, but when they find a creature of myth in the hold of a rival captain’s ship, everything changes for the crew of the Desire.
