Summary
Carla Connor is a Manchester Mafia Boss, which means she's in charge of nefarious activities AND the people carrying them out. She's a hard nut to crack, but if anyone can, then it's Lisa Swain from the Organised Crime Unit. Taking the assignment as an undercover copper, Lisa's worked her way into Carla's organisation. But can she work her way back out again before falling for our Mafia Queen or exposing her true identity?
This was a "thing" I mooted on tumblr and for those three people who wanted it - here it is!
I'm proceeding with caution when it comes to this story. I have *plans*.

Summary
This is the sequel to Love You, Goodbye - in which we ended with Carla giving birth to her and Liam's child after his death.
Begin again starts when Lisa goes to find Carla at the cafe to apologise to her, right before the car scene :) This is a rewrite where we will follow the story of Carla and her two daughters as they embark on their new journey with DS Swain and her troublesome daughter whilst dealing with the difficulties of everyday life.
Disclaimer: may not be update frequently as I start University next week and may not have much time but it will definitely be completed :)

Summary
Carla knows, then, with a certainty so sudden it's almost shocking, that this, this thing, didn't start last month. It didn't randomly spark during the early-October evening when they were loose-lipped, half-tipsy with wine, when the blonde had settled cosily on her shoulder like she belonged there.
No, it's been smouldering away in the background, building and building, for a long, long time.
It's been six months in the making.
Or: "Don't get dressed" and everything else.
