“You will not manipulate me.” She said, her voice trembling with anger as she stood a foot from him, her hands flexing instinctively, missing the tug in her stomach, missing her full power. “You are nothing but a trickster; how can you actually expect me to trust you?”
OR
Moments after Loki Laufeyson is apprehended by the Avengers during the Battle Of New York, a mysterious portal appears over Stark Tower, a crimson star, shining bright in the sky. A woman is thrown from it, bleeding and terrified, pressing a knife into the God of Mischief’s throat.
As the Avengers struggle to understand their unexpected guest, war rages across the universe, expanding, consuming everything as a villain more powerful than any before rises out of the shadows, and the Earth’s mightiest heroes are forced to question everything they think they know about their world.

Summary
In a last ditch effort to rehabilitate Loki, he is magically bonded to a telepathic human, Lisa, in the hopes that being forced to feel her emotions, will make him face the horror of his actions.
Sent back to Earth with Thor as his bodyguard, things become complicated, when the Hulk attacks Stark. Having gone to NY to help, Thor then disappears and Lisa begins to suspect that SHIELD's involvement in her life, goes way beyond just being on their Index of gifted humans.
Will Loki help the Avengers find his brother, or will he leave Thor to his fate? And why have SHIELD always been keeping such a close eye on an otherwise ordinary, telepathic woman?
