Chanse opened his eyes, his vision blurred slightly as he rubbed them with a yawn. The sunlight was warm against his skin, golden and comforting; the curly haired man looked over to his sleeping family.
His two sweet girls, Lori and Sahara were still fast asleep. Sahara was splayed out, taking up a good enough portion of the bed, while Lori cuddled with her stuffed cat and his handsome husband; Shayne. Chanse couldn't help but smile at this domestic sight.
Or
Chanse and Shayne have a slow but well needed calming morning.

Summary
Later that night, Zuko took a bath to get rid of all the sand around the crevices of his body. He washed his hair thoroughly, and enjoyed the warmth of the water as he sunk deeper into the bath. He stared at his body for a while, thinking of all the scars around it, the training accidents, the battles he lost, and the intentional scars covering him. It only made him self-aware. Then he thought of his friend, staring at his body, probably judging them, analyzing and feeling disgusted by them. Was that really what Sokka thought of him? Probably not, but perhaps he felt pity for him.
Or Zuko is too oblivious to know that Sokka is looking at him like he hung the moon
