Summary
Namping opens his eyes to a hospital ceiling and a life that doesn’t fit him anymore. Kong — the friend who was driving the night of the accident — is gone. Classmates graduated; plans dissolved. His mother works three jobs to cover medical bills. The steady loneliness of recovery presses in until a new arrival on the ward breaks the quiet.
Harit is all raw edges: a handsome high-school football player who thinks the end of his career is the end of him. Angry, scared, and loud, he and Namping clash at first — until they’re partnered for physical therapy and begin to discover that healing is a messy, shared thing. They trade jokes over crutches, hold each other through nightmares, and find small mercies in late-night walks down hospital corridors.
