Warning: Dias and Misha don't appear till much later but I need to put them in the tags now because the fic would be too hard to locate otherwise. I'm the only one here writing Spencer & Emily stuff, I think (or Sasha & Emily).

MORE MESS IS HAPPENING WITH THE KAZFED SO HECK, THIS IS BECOMING A FULL MYSTERY STORY WITH CHAPTERS!!
TW for graphic injury/mention of rape in several chapters. The Thieves aren't the ONLY gang in Almaty, btw- there are others, and loansharks/local gangs are ALSO a problem.

Summary
Set in the time skip of the In Care of Aleksandr/Mihhail Selevko universe. Mihhail is the narrator here (mostly). Emily Chan is also the narrator in some chapters. Reading that isn't necessary but might flesh things out a bit.
Aleksandr does something horrible, Mihhail suffers as a result, and it's up to everyone else to pick up the pieces.
The twins are both 20 in this, both in college. Other skaters will feature in this too.
Mihhail's nicknames for Aleksandr: Sasha, Lex, Lexi. Aleksandr's nicknames for Mihhail: Misha, Mish, Mimi.
No real TW in this but there's a reference to someone's abortion in Chapter 11 (NOT his kid! Don't worry).

Summary
This is actually a chapter in my Sowing Seeds in Sochi fic but it's in a slightly different style so it works as a standalone (I'll put all the Misha first person narrative chapters here).
Misha is 11 in this, two weeks into life in Sochi, and is recovering from a concussion after a triple sal gone wrong. He becomes more lucid as the story goes by, and is forced to confront some hard truths about himself.
Warning: it's very, very, very dark. It's the darkest thing I've written. EXTREME TW IN CHAPTER 6 AND 7, skip if necessary.

What happens after Coach Urmanov plucks Misha out of his Almaty nest and moves him to Sochi... Chapter 5 is my favorite chapter thus far. Extreme TW in Chapter 21.

COMPLETED!! I have put Part 2 with this too! Aleksandr is on the Estonian Olympic team. Mihhail is not.
(This somehow became a series of one shots and flashbacks because it worked unexpectedly well, and more and more skaters started featuring in it!)
(Someone said it was too hard to find the other fic because of the lack of tags so I'm merging them. The first 16 chapters belong mostly to the Selevkos, the next ones to little Emily and little Spencer (and later Sasha again).
