Summary
Chloe is the Captain of the LAPD, and Lucifer is a well known crime boss who hides behind the moniker El Diablo. Though he somehow always manages to evade capture, and no one has ever seen him in person, Chloe and her team mysteriously receive word of his whereabouts and they setup a sting. Everything goes according to plan.
That is, until an arrogant young detective jumps the gun, and the suspect "accidentally" gets away.

Summary
Her heart is hammering in her chest and rattling against her breast bone. She can feel it pumping blood throughout her body, beginning from the bottom of her toes and trailing all the way up to the top of her head. A thumping noise reverberates between her ears as her heart rate increases. Her hands are slick with sweat and they feel clammy. Normally, she would be twisting them about, picking at her nails in nervousness. It’s his unrelenting hold on her hands that prevents her from doing so. His touch grounds her to the moment—keeping her mind from wandering—and she doesn’t know whether to be thankful for that or not.

She realizes belatedly that he hasn’t moved a muscle. She’d think he wasn’t breathing if she couldn’t see his chest rise and fall.
“I think, for both of us, it’ll be best if I no longer work with the LAPD.”
And there it is. Immediately her train of thought screeches to a halt and her world comes crashing down. All she can muster is a meager, “what?”
Or, Chloe confesses that she is happy with Marcus. Lucifer takes it a step too far and make a promise that he will step away form her personal life, causing him to resign from the LAPD. Will they be able to find each other again? How will Chloe react when she finds out about Lucifer? And where does that leave Cain?

Summary
After Lucifer finds out about Chloe's betrayal and her claims to be terrified of him, he locks himself into his penthouse. To busy drowning in his self hatred, he ignores the calls that he receives from an unknown number. That is until in a bout of boredom he answers a text showing a woman strapped to a chair.
It isn't until later into the video, that he realizes it's Chloe.

Preferably the man she truly desires.
