Summary
Robin "The Rebel" Buckley and Nancy "The Priss" Wheeler have been academic rivals since high school started last year and 1983 is no different. They've grown a mutual resentment of each other as they constantly compete for the top spot in Hawkins High.
They both however, can't get each other out of one another's heads. They both fascinate each other beyond belief but neither can fully figure out why. The disappearance of Will Byers will give both the chance to finally confront each other, and maybe even cause feelings to explode out.

So when the Demogorgon heads after Derek Turnbow, it flees and drags Robin into the Upside Down, Nancy wastes no time in chasing after her and they both end up finding themselves in a room that is rapidly falling apart.

Summary
After experiencing a life-altering tragedy, Nancy Wheeler learns that she is the Slayer, one girl in all the world chosen to destroy vampires and other forces of darkness. A center of mystical convergence has recently opened underneath Hawkins, causing supernatural activity to increase tenfold in the historically peculiar town.
As Nancy investigates the deaths and disappearances caused by these paranormal events, she finds an unlikely ally in Robin Buckley, a clever and observant Hawkins student who quickly discovers Nancy’s secret identity.
