"Every single little thing about Chigiri is perfect. He never thought he could have room in his life for another dream outside of becoming the top striker. But this? Kunigami would fall to his knees and pray to any God for this. To keep him, forever. He knows it's irrational. Chigiri probably doesn't even feel the same way. Not to mention them being in competition with each other. It's nice for the guys to think they will stay friends after this, but can you really stay friends with someone who steals your dream from you? Kunigami wants it to be him that wins. It has to be him. He feels guilt for wanting to take this from Chigiri. He's incredibly talented and deserves the world. He just can't have this. Kunigami would give himself, his body, anything to him, but not his dream."
