Summary
After Sabo’s death, Ace felt like they relied heavily on one another, Luffy for his last brother and Ace for the last thing keeping him from just removing his cursed existence. Luffy still didn’t understand everything that was going on with him, but he knew that he was one of the last things tethering him to this world and made it his personal goal to let Ace know he adored and cared for him.
He thinks he once heard Dadan call it an unhealthy coping mechanism, but what did that old hag know? Nothing, that’s right.

Summary
'I've never seen a human this close before.' Ace whispers. 'The ships never come this way.'
'Eh, what's so special about that? They all look the same to me.' Sabo comments, standing on Ace's shoulder.
'I don't know, I think he's kind of…handsome.' Ace tells the bird, almost unthinkingly, moving forward to get a better look.
'Look, Rayleigh.' Deuce runs his fingers through his hair as he tries to walk away from the conversation. 'When I meet my soulmate, I'll know, without a doubt. I'm sure it'll hit me like lightning.'
Crash.
Thunder booms loudly and lightning hits the water, rocking the ship violently. The crew runs around the deck, Skull calling out; 'Hurricane's coming! King Whitebeard must be furious!'
