Summary
Jacob finds himself the unexpected beneficiary of an unknown great-uncle's will and inherits a storefront in a beautiful desert city. Having completed his training at the Ashdale School of the Magical Arts, he thinks he could open up a magical supply shop, but it turns out that Uncle Oakworth was a hoarder and Jacob has to get things in order before he can get into business! The desert city of Khalst has much to explore and has many interesting people, and Jacob ends up befriending some local adventurers...but will this friendship turn into something more? This is a cozy, low-stakes story that I hope to make as pleasant to read as something like 'Legends and Lattes'. Eventual smut, updates when time allows.
