BEST FIC OF MY LIFE
This is the first and only time that a story has made me so emotional, I was on the verge of tears. It was such a beautiful experience to read this story for the first time, worth every single read. Binged this in a day.
The characterisation of every single character was nothing short of perfect and every decision having meaning and relating to something. There’s so much work and effort put into this fic, this is literallt the work that started why I write long comments now.
Gorgeous work of fiction and it has a very dear designated space in my heart. First chapter is incredibly pulchritudinous, second is more of a treat for the angst lol!

“I’m a kid. You can’t leave me alone. That’s unsafe.” Megumi counters, pulling the phone away from his ear. His argument might have done more to sway Suguru if his voice wasn’t so deadpan.
“I’ll leave you with the guards. They’ll look after you until your dad gets there.”
“I can’t talk to strangers.”
“What am I, then?”
“That was an emergency. Also, you’re not a stranger anymore.” Megumi blinks. “You’re Suguru.”
Suguru fights the urge to slam his head against the pole in the middle of the train carriage. Instead, he says: “Can I talk to your dad?”
Megumi loses his dad on the train, and finds a certain tall, raven-haired man instead.

"People usually don't get this chatty on the meds," Fushiguro said dryly, checking the readout on the monitor. "Please try not to fall asleep. We need to keep you awake for now."
"I'd love for you to keep me awake," Yuuji murmured, his lips curving into a dopey smile.
He giggled again, the sound low and almost breathless. It was kind of ridiculous, how much drugs seemed to loosen his tongue. But hey, he was pretty sure he'd be mortified by this later, so might as well have fun while he could.
Fushiguro gave him a blank look.
"It's funny because I'm gay," Yuuji explained, laughing again. "See, because I'm into dudes."

Earthtodora is always cooking with Itafushi. Megumi’s reasoning to become a parademic is my fave. Yuuji is just high
