Time, it seemed, had begun to disappear right along with Jack Griffin’s flesh and bone and nerve.
Or, a story that follows Jack Griffin's mind and his perspective as he slips further into invisibility and away from humanity, dredging up memories long past, and seeking them out.

He was just a normal young orphan with an affinity for art, there was nothing special about him. If even his parents didn't want him, who would? that was what he always thought until that day.
Perhaps his life would have taken a different path if, instead of going alone, he had taken another to go with him to that place, or if he hadn't even left the orphanage, maybe he would have been adopted by a good family that could offer him good conditions of living a good life and encourage him to pursue the artistic field he loved so much. If he hadn't listened to that stranger that day, maybe he wouldn't be sitting in that interrogation room one step away from spending the rest of his life in prison.
Although... it didn't make much difference, his life was nothing more than an act on a stage, a comedy of an endless spiralling descent into madness, full of addicting adrenaline, violence and treasons. The comedy of art thief.
