Summary
The guy’s face is covered by a mask, red and blue, patterned like a web. Huge white lenses that seem tinted for complete privacy. Mike studies it with fascination and doubt at the same time. He tries to find the human beneath the image, the angle of a jaw under the fabric, its barely noticeable movement, the tilt of the head.
The body is human too.
Although that depends how you look at it. He is holding Mike with a strength completely uncharacteristic of a human being.
The white lenses narrow slightly, and Mike, the nerd that he is, suppresses a convulsive inhale.
The mask looks damn cool.
