As Zhongli inches closer, Childe senses every deliberate movement, the space between them dwindling bit by bit. The heightened intimacy causes the air to grow thick with tension, almost palpable in its intensity. Every subtle shift, every shared breath, is like an intoxicating dance drawing them closer.
"Talk to me, Childe. Tell me how you feel," Zhongli murmurs, each syllable imbued with unspoken commands.
For a split second, Childe is captivated by Zhongli's lips, their chiseled form rendering him momentarily tongue-tied. Then he jerks his gaze away, the vulnerability of it all threatening to consume him. "It's hard to explain but," he manages to say, his voice a blend of confusion and yearning, his eyes flitting to where their hands are interlocked. "There's this inexplicable pull I feel whenever you're near me. I can't help but want to... touch you."
After the loss of Guizhong, Zhongli had closed off his heart completely. However, everything changes when he meets Childe. Now, Zhongli is determined to possess Childe's mind, body, and soul, and he will go to any length to achieve his goal.
