Summary
A cynical Vandal and a quiet Assassin find themselves together on a contract in Dire Marsh. Like most Dire Marsh runs, something goes terribly wrong. Blackbird is beyond revival, ONI is not responding, their shells are glitching... they cannot exfil. The forced disconnect time comes and goes, yet still they remain. The laboratory was cloaked in shadow, lit only by the flicker of dim light bulbs and the occasional crackle of electricity leaping from the coils above. Viktor stood over the motionless figure on the gurney, his breath shallow, his hands steady as they cut open stitches. His heart thundered in his chest, a storm of doubt and desperation battering his mind. The air was thick with the acrid scent of chemicals, the loud metallic clanging of machinery, and something else…hope, or perhaps madness. This had to work. It was the culmination of years of sacrifice and obsession. It must work!

Summary
It wasn’t a stirge or a deathfang, Gale choking down a gasp at the humanoid figure madly lapping and guzzling the bowl of blood. It was a vampire.
When Gale becomes aware of a creature targeting the infestation of necrotic rats plaguing his store, his eager brain fixates on the question of what being would willingly consume such pests.
His answer of a feral vampire spawn would only leaves him with an overabundance of academic questions and emotional complications.

Strange, unfamiliar, weird marks disturbing the pristine white sand of his beach.
Astarion's tail thumps heavy in the shallow waves, sending ripples outward and scaring the crabs. His brow furrows as they scuttle away. There goes his easy snack.
All because some thing dares to trespass on his private little piece of paradise.

Summary
Jayce is good at a lot of things. He's talented in the forge, at metallurgy, particularly skilled in thermodynamics and closed-systems problems. He's considerate and motivated. He makes a mean cup of coffee and sweetmilk. In many ways, he's the ideal co-worker and friend.
But Jayce is very bad at taking care of himself.
This quickly becomes Viktor's problem.
Or: a dom/subverse fic in which Jayce is a particularly sensitive submissive that has struggled to find a partner due to his large stature and demeanor. Viktor offers to help him self-regulate. Chaos and miscommunication ensues.
