Summary
Somehow, they'd managed to talk Leon into going on a family vacation. He'd protested at first citing he and vacations didn't mix well. When questioned why he'd grumbled something about always being stolen away by work.
“You have mandatory vacation days…they can't just keep you there Leon.” Elliot argued.
Leon had just snorted, “Yeah well I could probably take off two months straight with my racked-up days and I'd still not get a week.”
“That's not legal.”
“But it is reality. I can't even argue with it because it's always a good reason.” His brother lamented not even sounding bitter…just tired.

Summary
"Look at me,” he growled, looming over her, his chest heaving. “I am sick of the games, Ada. I swear to God, if you don't start taking this seriously, I’m going to tie you to this damn chair.”
Ada didn’t flinch. “Promises, promises, Mr. Kennedy. Do you even have the nerve?”
As it turns out, Leon does have the nerve.

Summary
“Don’t you have something better to do?”
“Better than being near you? Nope.” He lowers his head onto her leg then, settling there with a soft, deliberate weight. One arm drapes loosely over her shin, holding her in place like she might otherwise escape him. Leon knows he’s being clingy but after spending years where he barely got to hold her till the wee hours of morning, because she would somehow slip by in the dark, and he wouldn’t have any idea when he would see her next time, he thinks he has earned this much.
A glimpse into Ada and Leon's married life as they navigate this new reality, told by the series of fragmented moments over time.
