“Harry Potter,” Voldemort said, and there was something strange in his voice now. “What exactly do you think you’re doing?”
Harry felt his face heat up, but he didn’t back away. “You want a body. I can give you one.”
“Oh, can you?” He tilted his head, as if examining a particularly interesting insect. “And you, The Boy Who Lived, now want to… help me come back?”

Voldemort laughed again, this time more quietly. “Naive.” Quirrell’s hand, pale, almost translucent, reached out in a strange movement that seemed to hurt, to touch Harry’s face, as if he were a child saying something silly. “You have no idea what you’re talking about.”

Summary

Being “normal” for the Dursleys yielded great results in improving his standard of living, and as he heads off to Hogwarts he still retains that impulse to keep his head down and blend in.
