Summary
Vampires of several different variants live in secrecy amongst the human race. In the (fictional) city of Ashivale, Nevada, one such vampire and his followers have decided they no longer wish to keep to the shadows, but instead aim to gain enough power to punish (and even enslave) their mortal counterparts.
Jace Madigan, the cocky lead singer of a rock band, recently awoke as a vampire after he was fairly certain he was at death's door the night before. Since when did these creatures exist, and who turned him?
