You are an intern on the BLU team who has been consistently refused the opportunity to fight in an actual battle. Fed up and impatient, you take matters into your own hands and sneak onto the battlefield. That ends up being an extremely short-sighted decision as you are captured by the RED team, where you become their play thing...

I originally posted the first chapter years ago anonymously on the afanfic thread on TF2chan, although I think the link to that is lost to time, but thankfully I had the story chapter saved. Then I posted the first and second chapter on Tumblr before the adult content got banned, halting my progress on the story which lead to writer's block. Only recently have I decided to pick it back up again. I have an idea for an ending, but it will be updated very, very slowly.

“I’m here to increase the efficiency of the whole team, since that’s all you seem to care about.”
“A rifle kills what you point it at. All the extra tech just gets in the way.”
“A good sniper demonstrates adaptability in changing conditions,” you say, shrugging lightly. “I think you’re just scared of sharing the sightline.”

Strange way to get an apology out of someone, even for a hunter, and now you're even less inclined to give one. A smirk crawls across your face.
"Bloody difficult. Right. You're coming with me."

You're a hunter in the wilderness, snatching kills where you can before you're forced back into a life you resent. Someone else is out there, too, and they're not happy about you. You get a little too fixated on him. The feeling is mutual.
