    You are a freelance wildlife photographer. You’re down on your luck and low on funds when you hatch the plan to shoot in one of the prettiest, most in-demand locations your region has to offer: Crystal Lake. You pack your gear, leave for your trip, and give very little thought to decades-old mass killings that occurred in the area. After all, you had nothing to fear from some old, dead serial killer.

    Unfortunately, someone who camps in the same spot for hours to get the perfect shot isn’t that hard to catch.

    This is your first summer job, maybe even your first job. Being deaf, the head counselor finds it fitting that you and only you be in charge of taking care of some special needs kids coming to camp. You find yourself running into the infamous Camp Blood Killer as you try and be a good guardian to your small team of campers.

    This fic went on for much longer than I planned, nearly double the word count, but I'm just glad it's finished. There's not a lot of romance going on in this, so don't go in expecting it. I've got a video saved of Jason looking down at this girl in bed and leaving her alone which kind of spawned the idea for this fic. I just think Jason would love some kinship with kids like him, which is kind of the plot of this whole thing.
