Summary
Stiles has had the night from hell. Running for his life through the preserve, all the while actively bleeding out from his wounds, throwing in a disembodied voice and a sudden acquisition of magic powers, and Stiles is just about ready to write off the last twenty-four hours, sleep for a week, and start again.
Unfortunately, life has other plans.

Starts up at the end of season two after Stiles leaves the Argent basement.
TW because there are some rape/non-con elements, no actual rape more just some unwanted touching, and rated mature because of graphic descriptions of violence, swearing, and whatnot.
Characters are mostly underage (Everyone who is still in Highschool at least), but they are aged up slightly, Stiles is seventeen, for example, and Derek is twenty because I said so.

Summary

If he had said this to any other lady, you wouldn’t have thought twice. It would’ve been a subtle way to indicate James’ interest in Princess Peggy. But the way Steve said it, to /you/ of all people. You know what he is implying.
“Don’t be cruel.” You whisper back to him. Your faces are close, at an unseemly distance. You are glad for the chaos in the hall suddenly and hope that no one is watching too closely. Most of the men are either focused on their food or the dancing that has sprung up between the tables.
“You didn’t hear this from me, but I don’t think Princess Peggy is quite the woman he is looking for.” Steve hums before finally resting back in his seat with a smug look. You don’t dare ask /what kind/ of woman King James is looking for.
