Quentin… can’t really interpret the look on Eliot’s face. He almost looks nauseated, like the news that Quentin and Alice’s relationship is over is somehow terrifying to him.
“Are you okay?” he asks, and something about the way he says it almost makes Quentin start crying. This, of all things. There’s a desperation there, in the sheen of Eliot’s eyes, like the thought of Quentin not being okay is deeply, viscerally painful to Eliot somehow. As if Quentin’s ever really okay. As if he’s been okay at all recently. Ha ha. Imagine a world in which he’s okay. Poor Eliot, wanting the impossible for his friend. What a beautiful heart he has. I read the Witcher books, and Geralt is a sensitive boi about the whole mutant thing. Multiple times he mutters to himself about how THoSe PeoPLE don't think he has FeElings.
So I just really think he'd be charmed as hell by Netflix Jaskier. It would be big 'I've had him for a day and a half and if anything happened to him I'd kill everyone in this tavern and then myself' energy.
So I imagined what would happen if Book Geralt met Netflix Jaskier that day at that tavern in Posada. (Spoiler he loves him.)

This is — your fault!” He turned, finally, and there was no missing the changes: his eyes had changed color, more amber than yellow, striking under his dark eyelashes, and his teeth were sharp, every one of them. Geralt’s head was spinning; he knew what he was seeing, but he couldn’t believe it. Why had his medallion never shook or warned him? “I’ve never been dumb enough to forget the full fucking moon, Geralt!” he continued still, gesturing wildly up at the sky. “Because that is a death wish, for me and others.”
