Summary
Michael was just turning his life around-no more drunken bar fights at the Wild Pony or strangers in his bed-when he found himself stranded in a snowstorm, miles from civilization. As great as it was that his life was getting back on track, Michael couldn't help but think that if Max did have him locked up in the drunk tank, he wouldn't be completely and totally fucked. Unless the snowstorm broke soon, all the new possibilities he’d been dreaming of were going to die with him somewhere in the middle of nowhere, Colorado. It would take a miracle for him to survive the night.

Summary
In my timeline Alex and Michael returned home from their honeymoon three weeks ago, about the same time that Max and Dallas returned home from Oasis. It is the last day of november, meaning they've had a two months long honeymoon.
Michaels has been retreating to the junk yard and it's making Alex angst which makes him come up with a creative plan to get Michael to relax enough to share what is going on.
A lot of angst, but also fluff with a touch of Christmas.

Summary
“Alex Manes,” he says, the syllables of it dripping with so much acid it makes Alex want to change his entire name.
“Michael,” Alex says in return. He’s pretty sure this isn’t the right way to address someone who’s in his professional charge, but at the end of the day, they went to school together. He’s known Michael since they were fourteen years old.
There’s a brief look of surprise on Michael’s face at the sound of his own name, but then his expression breaks into a mirthless smirk.
“You’d think Deep Sky would do background checks on their employees, huh? A Manes man, getting all up in alien business? We all know how well that’s turned out in the last century or so.”
