He's a good boy and you'll be nice to him, Pepino, or you'll never get a discount again," he threatened, which was completely absurd and a sign that the whole world had turned upside down after all. Leo blamed the Foot Clan. And Shredder. And Big Mama. "Besides, I'm sure he had a change of heart. Right, Lechuga?"
They both looked at Usagi expectantly. The rabbit took his time, twirling the pen in his fingers for a moment, before finally sighing. And in that same, emotionless voice, he announced:
"My boss fucking died."

Leo didn't like this boy. In fact, he hated him with his entire soul, and he has spent weeks nursing a sense of injustice and plain jealousy. But now, looking him in the eye, he couldn't remember any of it.
Maybe it was because Usagi seemed so genuinely excited to see him, or because he had that enthusiasm and hunger that Leo still vaguely remembered from his first roles. Maybe it was because he was so awkward, talked far more than he should, and seemed nothing like the person Leo had already created in his head.
