Summary
Michaela Stirling wakes up in 2026 with no explanation, in a London flat she shares with Francesca Bridgerton. Their flat. Their life. And a mug in the cupboard that says more than she knows how to.
She spends two months learning to survive a century she doesn't understand, alone, until a hospital calls to say that Francesca needs to be picked up.
Now they must navigate a world that has already decided they belong together, while one of them is only beginning to understand what that might mean.Bookmarked by SillyOtter_Chiwu

Summary
Normally, Beatrice would feel guilty for such behavior. She would feel guilty for imbibing, but most of all, she would feel guilty for the thoughts she was having about Ava. Thoughts of pulling her closer… Thoughts of kissing her. But most of all, thoughts of touching her. Thoughts of their bodies pressed together in the bed they shared every night.
These thoughts made an appearance as often as one might think, and Beatrice silently scolded herself for them. She didn’t allow herself to think these thoughts or even feel the things that came with them. Tonight, however, as she did more shots with Ava, Beatrice found herself fantasizing with abandon.
OR
Ava is overcome with her desire for Beatrice that she decides to make the first move. Let's just say... It ends very well for her. Huge thank you to @Brenfasa for giving me some wonderful ideas.

Summary
When Beatrice Zhao, aspiring art conservator, gets the news that her employer won’t sponsor her work visa, she has to make a decision: return to England and subject herself to the purview of her overbearing (and homophobic) parents or try something reckless, desperate, and most certainly illegal.
Ava Silva’s main concerns are:
i) getting out of swim practice early
ii) making it to her volunteer shift on time
iii) what to eat for dinner
That is until her friend Camila shows up with a huge favor to ask.--
“Bea.” Ava tilts forward to take her hands. “You are literally one of the most interesting people I have ever met.” Beatrice opens her mouth but Ava pushes on. “I have loved getting to know you over these past weeks and I can’t wait to deceive the American government with you. I am all in.”
Beatrice is blushing furiously.
“Thank you,” she chokes out.
“The pleasure is all mine, babe.”

Summary
Beatrice finds herself musing not over duty and sacrifice and God, but the truth of angels, if they can be created rather than summoned. If they can take the form of women with overeager mouths and careless limbs and eyes with a depth that beckons - a crooked finger, a spiral staircase - if they can be both human and not, both beautiful and terrifying.
Ava asks, What do you want, Beatrice?
(Tell me and I’ll give it to you. Tell me and I’ll build you a home there. Tell me and I’ll rearrange the universe to make it all fit, angels and demons be damned. Tell me it’s me. Me. Me.)
