Qifrey slid over to sit next to Olruggio, leaning his head on the man’s shoulder. He grabbed his arm, wrapping both of his own around it so his watchful eye couldn't go anywhere. Closing his eye, Qifrey let out a soft breath and nuzzled his head against Olruggio. “I missed you very much, you know.”
“Not enough to contact me about what was going on.” Olruggio bit back.
“Allow me to make it up to you, dear Olruggio.” Qifrey hummed. “I’ve lots of ideas.”

“Not a concern for me? What, are you going to tell a child not to worry about their father?” It takes a beat for Qifrey to realize what he said, his cheeks flushing red as he looks away.
