Summary
Tsunade sends Kakashi to the academy to be a substitute for a few months, no matter how much he doesn't want to. Then again, he's a genius and has had how many teams of his own? Surely he can handle some academy kids, right...? Except he finds it's a lot harder than he thought it would be. Good thing Iruka is named as his mentor at the school to help him, but will both men survive Kakashi's time there?

Summary
After years of settling into a comfortable life as a sensei, Iruka is pulled back into the field for an S-rank he has no business being on, utilizing an ability he’s hardly ever trained, with the same mission captain who had overseen his final fuckup in the field years ago. A mission captain who doesn’t seem particularly happy to be working with him again.
Iruka probably wouldn’t be particularly happy about this, either, if he wasn’t focused on just trying to make it home alive.

Summary
Kakashi looks at him expectantly and it’s only then that Iruka realizes he actually has to do something since Kakashi agreed to let him try this. He goes slowly, hoping that his deliberate movements come across as confidence and not what they actually are.
It's probably best for Kakashi to stay where he is on the couch, so Iruka goes around the back of it to stand behind him. Iruka starts to move his hands where he needs to. Hesitates. Tries again. Gets a little closer. Still can't.
“Can I … I need to, uhm — is it alright if I touch you?”
or, what started as iruka offering to try relieving the stress of the sharingan for kakashi leads to the two of them spending unprecedented amounts of time together. and now ...
well, iruka isn't quite sure what they are now.
