Hawkins 1989
Almost two years ago the great "Earthquake" occurred, but now the people of Hawkins have returned to their somewhat normal lives. The Class of '89 have graduated and are planning for their futures.
Max and Lucas finally got their cinema date and are now looking forward to a future together, Dustin is off to college out of state, Will is heading to NYC with his brother to attend Art College and Mike is trying to throw himself into his writing, as he copes with the loss of Jane 'Eleven' Hopper.
The Party are preparing for separate futures...but have one last summer in Hawkins.

Will pushed Chance’s hands off of him, but it was too late. Mike had seen everything. Before Will could do anything, Mike stormed off into the kitchen.

Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max go to Stacey's party without telling Mike. Mike shows up to find everyone, especially Will, having a much better time there then they did at his D&D campaign earlier that night... and he starts to feel *things* about what Will is doing at said party...
