Summary
One thing I've always wondered is: Why in the heck didn't Orsted ask Twelve-year-old Rudeus Greyrat whether or not he really was a servant of the man-god and why wasn't he initially afraid of him before Rudeus was attacked during Turning Point Two. This piece of fiction was written to answer those questions. Some things will ling up with cannon pretty well, others won't some things will be my creation.
I have completely re-written the first five chapters. After I catch up to where I was, this story will completely replace my other fic.
Again, DO NOT READ THIS UNTIL YOU KNOW WHO THE SERIES BIG BAD IS! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! SPOILERS!!!!
The big bad shall be revealed this upcoming season. I will post when that happens.

This is kind of what inspired But for a Question, but is just a one-shot set after Turning Point Four. It has nothing to do with my other fic.
I knew I had written this about a year ago, but I couldn't find it... until I did! Bare bones editing in this one, It shall stand or fall on it's on merit. I wrote this during an interesting part of my life, I was transitioning from a creative DM to a creative writer again.

Rudeus Greyrat has been busy over the last couple of months.
His work for Orsted has constantly kept him on his feet ever since he learned about Geese's betrayal. He needed to form an army to fight against the Men Gods disciples when the time came and he needed to do it sooner rather than later.
He had a family to protect after all.
However, there is more to life than work, even if it is that important and Rudy is going to be reminded of that by the people closest to him.
