Summary
[From Los Angeles to New York City: CRIMINAL LOVE gives a classic film its signature New York character, and the public is in unanimous agreement...the two cities truly are where stars shine and dreams come true!]
It's funny. Jo hasn't seen a single star since he came here. But he supposes that wasn't the point.
Or;
New York City is, according to Jo, a wasteland of shattered hope and rotting lies.
Broadway called his name, and he listened, only to find the voice was sinister behind the illustrious red curtains.
Demons dance in the dark, monsters lurk from thousands of miles away, and nobody is safe on the boulevard of broken dreams.

Summary
Jo is a junior in college, and he feels as though he has failed at the whole college kid thing tremendously. He’s never been to a party, hasn’t joined any campus clubs, has not even stepped foot into a club or bar. Hell, the only friend he has is Harua, and he’s currently attending another university. Jo has come to terms with the fact that his college experience is going to be shaped by the hours he studied, the shifts he worked as a TA for his art professor, and spending his free time drawing, ordering takeout, and going to bed early.
That is, until he crosses paths with Maki.
Maki is basically the king of the college campus. Everyone knows him, and everyone loves him. He’s a star at sports, especially basketball, and he’s the definition of a social butterfly. Forced to be partners for a project, Maki and Jo begin to get to know each other, and Maki takes it upon himself to make sure Jo gets to experience college in all of its’ glory. How you may ask? Well, a good old fashioned bucket list of course!

Summary
Taki mentions K in everything. It’s so clear, so obvious, the way K trickles his way into every thought, like running water. The way Taki thinks about him always, thinks about him first. And K, always competitive, still with an athlete’s mentality, really likes being in the lead, likes occupying more of Taki’s headspace than anyone else.
(Taki gets stressed during an interview, and needs K to help him decompress.)

Summary
“You need to eat, Yuma. You look like you’re going to collapse any minute.”
“That’s not your problem to deal with. I can handle it myself.”
“Clearly, you can’t if you’re showing up here. You need blood, and soon.”
Yuma backed himself against the wall behind him. “I can’t. Not from you.”
Taki stepped closer. “Why not from me? I’m here. I’m offering to help you. You need help.”
At that, Yuma let out an audible sob. Just barely, but enough that Taki heard it. He stepped forward again, closing a bit more distance. He approached Yuma slowly, like a shelter cat taken home for the first time.
“I know you’re hungry. I know what I’m doing. Let me help, please.”

Summary
It was irritating, at first. Irritating to love Taki and want him at the same time. It chafed his pride—after all, he could have anyone. Yudai had made sure he became someone who could have anyone, and then he ended up like this: fucking Taki four nights a week, wanting him the other three. Wanting nothing else, no one else.
The lifecycle of an oyster and the pearl it made.
