The man is standing in the doorway, a cap low on his forehead covers his eyes, a mask covers the rest of his face, only his ears are visible, but by the ears Phuwin wouldn’t recognize a person passing him on the street anyway. The rest of the man’s body is fully covered in black – black shoes, black pants, black turtleneck sweater, black gloves.
Phuwin wants to thank him, say anything or ask the questions that are piling up in his head, but he remains silent. The man just leaves a thick envelope on the shelf next to the door and disappears into the darkness of the hallway.
Is this how his prayers come true?
