Summary
Defeating the Red Ring seems like the easy part. With Shroud dead, Robert returns home to find Invisigal waiting for him in his bedroom. Deliriously exhausted, Robert interrogates the now former Z-Team member. Soon, none of that seems to matter when Robert finds Visi in the midst of a severe asthma attack.
With the help of Mandy, the two reconcile. Robert invites Visi back to the team, but they can't savor the reunion for long—Mandy and Robert receive an email threatening to reveal who Mecha Man really is. As the Z-Team finds a balance, one ex-Red Ring member disrupts it all. Yet, it brings Robert and Visi closer. Eventually, their relationship becomes an asset to the Z-Team as they prepare for another takedown.

Post-canon continuing after a "villain" ending to Dispatch. Robert failed to defend Invisigal or free her, which becomes a major part of their arguments at the beginning. Much to Visi's disappointment, he'd also leaned out of her kiss. Blonde Blazer/Mandy and Robert are entirely platonic.Bookmarked by Slowtalk89

Summary
The day has been saved. Shroud is dead, Mecha Man is back, and the Z-team have emerged as heroes.
A victory doesn’t mean everything is well, though. Robert is wracked with guilt over his decision to kill Shroud, Courtney faces the reality of her failing lung implant, and neither of them fully understand how to navigate the relationship that has blossomed between them.
And yet, when there’s a will, there’s a way. Both of them are certainly willing, so with enough effort, there may just yet be some… waying?
