Summary
Tyler Joseph was the pinnacle of a God fearing man. Moved back to his childhood home after finishing college, visits church every Sunday, volunteers for his community. He was a great man, virtually perfect. He wrote music in his free time, played the piano at every service.
His only flaw?
A secret that would shatter his community's perception of him in an instant.
A secret that he had kept since he was a child.
You could only imagine how difficult that secret got to keep once he found out who had moved into the home directly beside his only four years ago.Perception is everything in a small Ohio town, rumors fly rampant and spread like wild fire. Its best to not be caught in a crossfire, especially when you have so much towing on the line.

Summary
Since first meeting in a creative program eleven years ago, Josh and Tyler have grown alongside a tight-knit group of friends. Though distance keeps them apart most of the year, the six of them reunite every summer and on occasional holidays, maintaining a lasting connection. As one of their own prepares to get married, the group gathers once again. But beneath the celebrations, Josh and Tyler find themselves at a turning point, no longer able to ignore feelings they’ve carried for years.
Set during a friend’s wedding, the present-day narrative frames the story, which is told predominantly through flashbacks spanning eleven years of Josh and Tyler’s relationship and how they got here.

Summary
Tyler reached a hand up. He wanted to touch the sky. He wanted to pull the stars down around him so he could prove that nothing was brighter than Josh’s smile.
The sky wasn’t as beautiful as Josh. The sky didn’t have the deep warmth of his eyes, it didn’t have the sound of his laughter, there were no wrinkles or smile lines. No smell of aftershave and generic deodorant. Tyler didn’t know why Josh was so obsessed with aliens, when he was the most interesting thing Tyler had ever seen.
Why go to heaven when there was somewhere better far from the sun?
