Summary
Ilya Rozanov is disappearing one day at a time and no one is close enough to notice.
He goes to practice. He scores. He says he's fine.
He writes it all down anyway, in a notebook his therapist told him to buy, in a house that feels too big and too quiet. Someone will find it eventually.
He just doesn't expect it to be Shane.

"And is like I said, very easy to do. You just lay back and let someone else do work. Could do it in my sleep, would not be problem at all for me to come hands-free.”
Hollander scowled, full competitive personality shining through. “Prove it.”
“Fine, I will,” Ilya snapped back.
Hollander's eyes went wide, and so did Ilya's when he realized what he had promised. His words hung in the air between them, suddenly heavy with implication.
---
Ilya doesn't think switching with Hollander one time for the sake of settling a bet will change anything about their arrangement, and it certainly wouldn't make him discover anything about himself. Afterall, it would only be one time, right? -

Summary
"Hi, solnyshko.”
The Russian pet name set a firework off inside Shane's mind as he heard it cooed from behind him. The intonation was just as he remembered, but the voice was much deeper. He turned and felt himself short circuit. It took every ounce of willpower to not let his jaw drop cartoonishly to the floor. Shane would recognize his individual features anywhere, even after 5 years. But it was as if someone had snapped their fingers and the smug, silly Russian boy who had been attached to Shane's hip for 3 summers was transformed into some sort of fucking Adonis right before his eyes.
“Ilya-” was all Shane managed before strong arms were wrapped around his waist and lifting him off the ground in a greeting all too familiar from years ago.
OR

But they lose touch when Shane moves on as a prospect for the NHL and Ilya for the KHL.Years later, Montreal makes a bold move to take the hottest player in the KHL. After hearing of the Russian's reputation, the Montreal Captain is tasked with keeping his old best friend and new teammate out of trouble.

Summary
All Ilya Rozanov has ever wanted to do is dance with Shane Hollander in a nightclub.
So, naturally, he plots and orchestrates a twelve-hour truce between Boston and Montreal to make it happen. It's the perfect cover... assuming they can actually blend in and not get caught.
But between their instinctual domesticity and a very drunk, clingy Shane, staying under the radar is a lot harder than it looks. Especially when Cliff Marleau is sitting right across the table.
(or, Cliff puts the pieces together when Shane gets wasted, Ilya's boyfriend mode is too obvious, and he catches them sexy dancing in the club.)
