“I’ll find you!” Loki yells a promise.
“Loki-!” Mobius is thrown through and it shuts behind him.
Loki’s eyes don’t leave the spot, even as it goes out of view.
“I’ll find you,” he whispers to himself.

OR: When a college dean’s homophobic comments threaten to cost Northlake University its main sponsors (and therefore its entire hockey program), campus golden boys Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov are asked to fake-date for damage control.
Shane thinks the plan is absurd. Ilya thinks it’s hilarious. Unfortunately, both of them care too much about hockey to say no.
Now they just have to survive staged dates, invasive campus gossip, suspicious teammates, and pretending to be disgustingly in love for a few months.
Which would all be a lot easier if they weren’t starting to enjoy it a little too much…

Shane Hollander has made many mistakes in his life, but volunteering as tribute alongside his best friend during District 11's annual Reaping isn't one of them.
Or maybe it is - he doesn't know yet. He'll confirm or deny when his near-certain untimely end comes.
Shane isn't a fighter. He's not a lover either, despite what he's leading the Capitol to believe. He's just a young man that knows the earth, and by proxy the brutality of nature; human or otherwise.
He doesn’t quite know what to do with Ilya Rozanov, though. Unfortunately it’s clear Ilya knows exactly what to do with him.

In room 1410, Ilya Rozanov is ready to walk out the door after successfully getting his 19 year old hockey rival into bed. He knew how to make this moment happen and he knows what they have to be to each other now that it's over. But as he turns the doorknob to leave, he's stopped with questions he never expected. And giving Shane Hollander what he needs in that moment will change everything.
I note which chapters are SFW vs NFSW, because many of you said knowing meant the difference between reading this on your lunch break or having to wait. (Thank you for wanting to read my work that much.)
Covers the first two years of their rookie seasons (which is mostly skipped over in the show/books). Canon divergent from the first hookup seen in HR s01ep01. Most things are from the show but the timeline is a mix of both; Hunter and Marleau are aged up per the show instead of as young as they are in the books. (Also, Shane and Ilya don't wait *two years*, they stick to the book timeline. IYKYK.)
