Summary
My first attempt at shorter stories using my latest craze of the General Organa-Leia/Rey ship. No beta and I own nothing, it all belongs to Star Wars and Carrie.
Synopsis: The Grand Alliance rebuilt after Crait under an even stronger General Leia and the Jedi-in-Training Rey. Working against the volatile and confused Kylo Ren, they defeat the First Order after two years and reform a Grand Alliance of Republics. The not-so-secret-any-more strength behind Leia was her bond with young Rey. After quite a bit of courting, the young scavenger would not be dissuaded from her physical attraction to Leia and they had finally consummated their relationship one night almost a year ago to the day.

Summary
The starship Voyager is hurtling through space, on its sixth year in the Delta Quadrant, heading for home. They carry a prominent passenger who, when installed as Arch Envoy, will be able to shorten the rest of their journey. When they approach the Envoy's destination, they receive a distress call with an impossibly familiar signature. Janeway has no idea what her decision to divert will send a woman her way who will change everything. In the meantime, the Arch Envoy, Miran Da'Priie, needs a personal assistant, and Ehief Engineer, B'Elanna Torres, sees a chance to send the brilliant but trying Ensign Sachs on a special assignment.

As Janeway and Seven learn to navigate the strange new dynamic forming between them, it becomes apparent that the planet they now call home has a much deeper story to tell--one that seems to defy logic, reality, and even the natural order of time itself.

This is a standalone fic but can be read as additional worldbuilding to my "For the Optics" series. Timeline runs about a year prior to the events of "A Binding of Stars."

With a deep, firming inhale Seven stood up. Her head swayed a little, it felt light, too light now. The vision of the mess hall, of Neelix behind his counter, started to get blurred, the image not more crystal clear. She took a cautious step, feeling her legs grow heavy and her knees a little unstable.
Then it all went pitch black.Or the one with a pregnant Seven and a stubborn Captain. They fight about it. Of course.
