Satan, he was an idiot. How could he think his wasted heart would ever compare to Heaven asking Aziraphale back with open arms, as Supreme Archangel, no less? Crowley never stood a chance. It took every ounce of self-control he possessed not to dash across the street and into the celestial elevator with Azriaphale, principals be damned, or blessed? But, Crowley couldn’t go back. He wouldn’t. He had at least that much self-respect left. He’d never belong in Heaven; he could never be happy there. And neither could Aziraphale, but his stupid, stubborn angel never could reconcile that fact.___
After the events of episode six of GO2, Crowley must learn to live without Aziraphale and Aziraphale must navigate his new life as Supreme Archangel of Heaven.

"Okay," Sam tries. "So you talked to Cas." That's one thing he knows for sure Dean said. "And Cas is out of the Empty."
"Dude, yes. Aren't you listening to me?"
It occurs to Sam what the most unnerving part is: Dean is smiling. Sam can't remember the last time he saw Dean smile. Beneath the frenetic, shivering energy, the nearly unhinged glint in Dean's eye and sickly pall, he looks – not happy. But ecstatic. Almost euphoric.
Sam swallows. "You talked to Cas. He's alive. And now he's – and where is he now?"
"Dude, come on!" Dean rolls his eyes, letting out an explosive sigh like he would when Sam was a little kid and unable to keep up. "I told you – he's possessing me!"

“I don’t understand.” Crowley says quietly. “Why aren’t I enough for you?”
“Oh…” Aziraphale murmurs, coming up to him, cupping his jaw with a feather light grip. “Oh, Crowley. Don’t ever think that, of course you're enough. You're more than enough."
Crowley yanks himself away, his eyes burning even more. It’s a foreign feeling and he sends a quick thanks down to whoever is in charge downstairs that his sunglasses are always on. He shudders to think what his eyes look like underneath.
“Then why couldn’t you stay?”
Or, Crowley tries to get used to life on his own, but it would be a lot easier if a certain angel would stop showing up.
