Summary
Everything is glamorized in Las Vegas: money, bodies, violence, love. When your family stops funding your socialite scandals, you do what any heiress who’s lost everything does: take the pole working at a high-end strip club. That’s where you learn what happens After Hours when the city finally whispers its secrets. You capture the attention of Javier Peña, the newly promoted boss of the DEA’s Vegas branch, tasked with taking down criminal powerhouse The Ivory Saints. What follows is a volatile, addictive affair, dancing on the fault line between justice and corruption, desire and self-destruction, lust and power. No one truly knows who is using who.
This story portrays sex work as valid labor and affirms the autonomy, skill, and agency of sex workers. At the same time, it does not ignore the very real dangers, exploitation, stigma, and systemic harm that many people in the industry face (often without protection or support). The glamor shown here is part of the fiction, not a denial of reality.

After spending too many years lost in their stories, perhaps it was time for hers to be heard.
The war in Asia began in 1937. The war in Europe began in 1939. The war for America began in 1941. Eleanor Dahl's war began on April 9th, 1940 and she's been fighting ever since, trying to find her way home - but the toll that road demands exacts a heavy price.

Summary
❝ Was never touched like this before; was object of a revelation ❞
Marian Frankenstein is a woman who has always been too intelligent, too stubborn, and certainly too outspoken for the time she lives in. That was how she ended up married to Victor, a Baron just as outspoken about his own ideas of how the world could work. He is a strange man, but the only suitor she ever had that actually humored her conversations about politics and biology. He respects her, and in turn, she puts up with his ungodly ideas. She certainly can't create anything with her own womb, so in spite of her reservations she does not try to stop him from raising the dead.
And when it actually works, his creation is nothing like either of them thought. A blank slate with a spark of intelligence behind his mismatched eyes. Victor resents him, but Marian is besotted. However, the fiery doom she saves him from may very well seal the fates of all three.
