Summary
Racetrack Higgins always thought it would be his own vices that got him into trouble one day; it turns out his Ma does it for him. When Ma Higgins crosses the local drug lord and leaves him high and dry with a target on his back, Race is saved by a mysterious stranger who gives him a safe place to hide—a short-tempered and anti-social stranger covered in horrifying scars, with a past as dark as the marks on his body. However, the longer Race spends in the Brooklyn house, the more he discovers about the boy beneath the scars: a boy who is just as trapped as Race and twice as damaged.

Summary
The situation comes back to mind when he finds Elder McKinley, looking much scruffier than usual, his head in Kevin’s lap, grinning, with a flush across his cheeks. He shares a bemused look with Kimbay, before McKinley pokes him in the jaw.
“You’re gonna cut someone, wi’ that jaaaw-line!” McKinley sort of yells at him, and it’s only then that Kevin realises that suppressed feelings and inhibition lowering substances, combined with the good ol’ Mormon guilt are probably not a great combination.
Yeah, probably best to get him back to the hut before McKinley says anything too self-incriminating.
In which most of the elders get accidentally drunk, McKinley tries to seduce Kevin while being carried by him, and maybe they can salvage something out of this.

Summary
When Kevin Price attended his best friends' wedding, he didn't think he'd end up meeting someone for himself. But then a handsome stranger in a flower crown enters the scene, one of the newlyweds plays matchmaker, and Kevin has to overthink his definition of a first date.
And that's not even addressing the one thing which ruined a lot of his dates in the past years.
‘Let’s do one last one for now,’ Kevin replies, pulling Connor close. Really close.
They’re nearly the same height, which means he can smell Connor’s aftershave or perfume, or whatever it is that makes him smell this nice.
The pang of warmth and want curling in Kevin’s stomach comes as a surprise. It doesn’t let up when the song finishes, either.
‘Wanna grab a drink and head somewhere quiet?’
