Summary
"Peaches," he says. His voice is soft and unexpectedly gentle. "You brought me peaches."
"Um. Yes?" Jisung winces inside. Why did he say it like a question?
"Beautiful," the man whispers, eyes locked on Jisung, but then they flick back down to the peaches. "The peaches; they're beautiful.
Or: Jisung is a farmer’s boy who quickly grows close to the village’s new stranger.

Summary
Jisung cleared his throat. “Why... why are they all...” he began, tracing circles around his own face with his fingertip.
“Tired? They had to get up super early and a lot of them didn't really appreciate it, but—”
“No!” Jisung interrupted him. “Why are they all old?” he whispered.
Giving Jisung a knowing punch on the shoulder, Minho burst out laughing as if he had just heard the best joke of the year, his head tilting back as his whole body shook with laughter. Seeing that Jisung did not share his mood and was watching him with barely concealed horror, he abruptly stopped laughing.
“Oh no, you are serious…” Jisung nodded. “Well, Jisung… Welcome to the Lavenders Retirement Home’s annual trip!”
Or. Jisung should definitely have read the fine prints before signing up for that shockingly inexpensive organized trip to Japan instead of going to his exams. He’s now stuck with a bunch of venerable aged people and, thankfully, a hot and caring nurse.

Bookmarker's Notes
The ending caught me off guard, but the whole thing was so soft and warm. Ouch, ouch my soul, my heart. It felt real, and not rushed. Gosh, golly gee. So cute. So funny, I was laughing and cheesing the whole way. Almost cried too, we won't talk about that (yes we will, the piano scene, lord). The ending was still good tho, the way it was more open ended I feel reflected the journey. Older folk have my hear too, so it was a double hitter...

Summary
“Are you from around here?” Minho asked, the food on his tray still untouched. He had been watching Jisung intently while the others talked and noticed more things about him that seemed familiar.
Jisung turned to face Minho and nodded.
“Yeah. Well...kind of. I grew up here and there, but I did live in this town as a child and then came back in my late teens.”
“And as a child, did you live in the big block of flats on the edge of town?” Minho asked quickly.
Jisungʼs furrowed his eyebrows and looked at Minho suspiciously. “I- I did. How did you know?”
Minho swallowed, voice shaky as he said “because I lived there too. I think we might have known each other as kids.”
** ** **
Minho and Jisung knew each other for a few months when they were both children. Now as adults, they find themselves working in the same school, Minho as a Maths teacher and Jisung as a guidance counsellor.

Summary
Vanilla pierced the air. This time, Jisung could scarcely trace any of its familiar elements. It was too bitter, overpowering in all the worst ways, and Jisung's heart plunged into his stomach. Acid ate away at the organ, but Jisung could still feel it roaring in his ears, his throat.
He gulped, and a mouthful of rancid vanilla coursed through him. Jisung's scent flared in response. A deep inquietude embedded its talons into him, submerging deep enough to rile Jisung's omega. It thrashed inside—a trapped wolf prepared to gnaw through a limb to escape.
Minho. Have to find Minho.
or five times jisung notices the shifts in minho's scent and the one time it makes him go feral

Summary
“Then who do you like?” Jisung asks with what he hopes is a steady, light voice. “You can tell me, I wouldn’t judge you. I could even help you, be your wingman.”
Minho grabs his wrist and pins it down. “Jisung, do you really not know?”
“I–I don’t know who you like,” Jisung says defensively. “How would I know? You never talk to me about your feelings.”
